First, but do not expect any atmosphere
Location is perfect. Close to Bendemeer and Lavender metro stations. Supermarkets and dining options nearby. Cooling off in the pool is also nice.

- • There was no atmosphere in the hotel. Did not see the possibility to have a drink. Staff barely greets you when you pass by the reception. We had problems with the key card to enter the room twice. Had to wait a long time before any help arrived.

- • 1. Towels were not clean 2. There was a leak in the toilet, it was dripping and disturbing sleep all night 3. My previous stays were good a couple of times but this time I was really not happy 4. Sound from the wall when someone is flushing as if it's inside my room.
A good stay overall
I had a really good stay at Aqueen Hotel Lavender and honestly would give it close to a 10/10, with just a few areas for improvement. Check-in was smooth and front desk, Zhen Ying really made my day. She was professional and attentive, and she got my request for a quiet room, which I really appreciated. That said, the hotel has basic amenities, and the highlight is definitely the swimming pool. The Lavender pool was clean (clear water compared to Jln Besar), and I appreciated that towels were replenished promptly. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, but improved cleanliness and housekeeping consistency would make the experience even better.

- • On the second day, the housekeeper came while I was heading out. I pointed out that under the sofa wasn't properly cleaned (looked like a cockroach but it wasn't, it's just rubbish). I also requested bedroom slippers, but they were not provided when I returned. I also realized my food in its box, which I had left packed on the table, was cleared, even though I left it on the table and still had half left and intended to eat it later. I managed to get the bedroom slippers from the front desk and also informed them that my food had been discarded. She apologized on behalf of the housekeeper. That said, I felt the overall cleanliness could have been more thorough, as I had to wipe down some surfaces upon arrival. While the front desk handled the situation well, I believe management should ensure housekeeping maintains more consistent standards and is more mindful of guests' belongings.
