Appart’City Confort Bordeaux Chartrons

Relatively new structure. Nice apartment. Although it is located almost 2.5 km from the center, you can easily walk there in about twenty minutes. It is well connected by tram C. I would say that all in all, it offers a good value for money. What bothered me was that the microwave was not working. I mentioned it on the first day because I had bought some food to heat up. For 3 days, they were unable to provide a solution: either change the microwave, change the apartment, or fix it... they did nothing. The reason for booking the apartment was precisely to cook something or have breakfast. I had to use pans and pots and clean every time, having a microwave would have solved it in 2 minutes without getting dirty.

Spacious room and nice staff

The room was very spacious and clean, the kitchenette was well equipped and convenient for preparing simple meals. The air conditioning worked well and was useful during the summer in Bordeaux. The staff were all friendly and helpful. There may not be many things around the hotel, but it is not far from the tram, so it is still easy to get around. Overall, we had a great stay, but it would have been better if there were refills of coffee/tea capsules in the room since we stayed for a few nights and there was no refill during our stay.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE. Far from the city center in a neighborhood without any restaurants around. This location is not suitable for tourists. The building is outdated and dirty, even the hallways were dirty and the walls were all scratched. The room carpet was dirty and stained, the bathroom was smelly and very outdated. The kitchen utensils were absolutely horrible and dirty. Even the fire alarm was on when we got to our room. We had to leave immediately as the beds had signs of bedbugs. Again, DO NOT BOOK as this place is nothing like the pictures shown. After expressing our dissatisfaction with our room, they did not offer any options and did not provide a refund as we had prepaid through Hotels.com.

Perfect but wrong information about check-in time

It was perfect but it stated that check-in was at 16:00, however, it was possible at 13:00, so I wasted 3 hours that I could have used for something else. Otherwise, the place was perfect with the nicest people at the reception. Close to the tram and supermarkets. 20 minutes and you are in the city.

Average stay.

The staff was great. Unfortunately, the walls are thin and it was noisy. The AC is centrally controlled and won't go below 21 degrees. If I choose a room with AC, I want to be able to choose my temperature. I will not stay here again. Parking was €15 per night for a motorcycle, the most I've ever had to pay.

Pleasant stay for work. Chose the establishment for its location. Comfortable. Very good value for money.

The first room wasn't cleaned, the bed sheets were dirty; although the made beds seemed okay, upon closer inspection, there were hairs and body hair!! Unbelievable! When I arrived at the reception desk, she asked if I had taken a photo??! I said yes and showed the terrible photos, so she changed the room, telling me to return the old room key to her when everything was done! Anyway, we found that the second room was not as nice as the first one (literally no view). When returning the old key, I explained the situation, but the receptionist was not warm at all. Anyway, I asked if it was possible to pay the city tax later (right at the beginning), she said no! It had to be paid at that moment, but providing a clean room from the start was not possible, huh? Two days later, I asked for two espresso pods for the machine in the room, they immediately charged 2 Euros. I was expecting maybe a nice gesture like offering at least 2 espressos after that terrible check-in! Another time, no thanks.
