Correct aparthotel with some defects

Well-located hotel in relation to public transport. Good value for money but some bad surprises that spoil the overall rating: No air conditioning in one of the two buildings. Leaking shower tray. Defrosted fridge (freezer part) so all the water flows out when the door is first opened. Elevator takes a long time to arrive. Only 1 towel per person for the entire stay. No cleaning or change of sheets or towels during the entire stay (5 days after all!) had to ask for toilet paper at the reception. Same room assigned to 2 people (a stranger entered the room while we were there)

Worst experience lived in a 'Hotel'. I have more...

Horrible, uncomfortable at all times, sad, with mistreatment and suffering mockery from the hotel staff. To begin with, as soon as I arrived at the building, the receptionist blatantly proceeded to tell me that due to the air conditioning in the building not working, they had decided to 'give us' the included breakfast as compensation, when from the beginning I had already contracted the service of included breakfast at the hotel accommodation... Also, they indicated that we had to pay an amount for a deposit that had not been previously indicated to us. Later, when we had returned from touring the city and asked if it would be possible to request a fan (which they had mentioned would be available at night), they started answering in French (when previously we had been speaking in English) that in the end they were not available, and that we should ask for it the next day. All this ordeal only served to suffer the same situation the next day, with the aggravation that this time they were aware of what they had told us, emulating dementia as if this situation had not occurred the previous day, looking at each other laughing. To top it off, I must mention that at no time was I informed when they charged us for the accommodation, when we had explicitly contracted the option to pay at the accommodation, laughing about it as well

Our stay went very well and was very pleasant, the staff was very competent and warm

The only thing we liked was the provision of cold water in the reception area. Otherwise it was absolutely awful! Where do I begin, the room was full of damp and smelled awful! There was damp on the walls and the bathroom ceiling was falling apart. Everything was so tired and used. There was no cleaning at all. They gave us 2 toilet rolls and 2 small towels for a 5-day stay. On day 3, the air conditioning stopped working and did not work for a day and night, which made the temperature and the smell of the room unbearable! It was a shocking experience and I wouldn't wish that on anyone! I am confident this room was a health risk and I felt awful putting my child through this

Very pleasant stay. Comfortable bedding and essential air conditioning in this heat

Helpful and friendly staff. They also speak English if you don't understand French well. Access to the accommodation 24/7 as well as the parking garage (for a fee) entrance and exit 24/7, also secure (electric garage door). Large bathroom with hairdryer, large mirror, and many storage options. Towels provided. The water pressure in the shower is too weak, so I took twice as long to shower. Unfortunately, the wardrobe is unusable as a large water heater is stored in it. Very unfortunate, as the room space is already very tight. Practical small kitchen including dishes and dishwasher. Small fridge available. Unfortunately, the sponge had not been replaced. There were food residues in it, which is very disgusting. Dishwashing liquid provided. Air conditioning works excellently. Bed and bedding clean and very comfortable. Dogs allowed (16 EUR per night). I actually only came here because of my dog (Golden Retriever) and had a positive experience (my dog is trained, housebroken, does not bark, leaves passers-by alone, always on a short leash). Broom and dustpan available in the room. Public transport just one street away, leading directly to the city center. I recommend it and would like to come back next year. Thank you very much
