Emplacement parfait sur la place centrale. Tout était accessible à pied. Le personnel était génial. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux et copieux. Leur restaurant était également agréable pour le dîner ou une bière, et ils étaient proches d'autres restaurants sympas et abordables. La chambre était bien : un lit confortable, un bon éclairage, une chaise confortable ainsi qu'un bureau et une chaise. Belle salle de bain.

- • Couple de hauts escaliers en marbre pour transporter la valise lourde jusqu'à l'ascenseur, mais vraiment, c'était un excellent hôtel et nous y retournerions certainement.

Everything is beautiful even the paintings hung in the hotel. People are nice. Welcoming, patient. The rooms are magnificent. The bathrooms are amazing!

Perfect location with a special style
Perfect position in the center of Oslo. You can walk anywhere very easily, near museums, restaurants, and public transportation. Love the American Lines style they kept with renovation. Very good gym. Very good breakfast.

- • When we arrived on Sunday the hotel restaurant was closed. Very small wardrobe in the room. We had to keep almost everything in our bags.
Wonderful place in central Oslo
Loved this hotel with its ambiance, friendly staff, and location. We picked it because it's across from the train station and accessible to everywhere in Oslo. So quiet and the rooms are very well appointed. Lots of historical nuances.

My 1 choice hotel in Oslo. Central location. Nice modern hotel with nice interior. Some rooms a bit small. Fortuna Suite my favorite. Best hotel gym in Norway. Nice cocktail bar in the lobby. Breakfast is ok+

First class stay, service, and hotel 5 stars
We booked Amerikalinjen solely because of its location—which is perfect—and once we arrived we learned it’s an absolutely amazing place to stay. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we were treated like the most important guests ever to check in. The restaurant was excellent—a late dinner our first night and breakfast each morning. Meals were great and the service was excellent. Our room was very nicely decorated and, surprisingly, very quiet for a hotel so centrally located. The hotel is steps away from as much action as you’d want. A return trip to Oslo, we’ll be back at Amerikalinjen for sure.
