I expected more.
Comfortable. I missed that old sweetness of the chocolate on the bed. We were welcomed with fruits. The hotel has lost some of its glamour, but still has its beauty and charm. The spa needs a renovation and staff training. It's the fifth time I stay at Alvear and I felt it has declined since the last time a few years ago.

- • I was disappointed with breakfast. Few varieties. Nothing different from any other hotel... I expected more from the spa. 3 employees talking and laughing... they only answered what I asked. I almost apologized for being there...
It was a great high-end hotel experience for a special occasion.
This was my first visit to Buenos Aires and the hotel was in a very safe area in the city. It was a great advantage for us. The facility was of high quality and had a great European taste design. The room was also clean and luxurious. Breakfast was included in my plan and the buffet had a great variety and tasted good. There were local dishes in the breakfast that made my experience better.

- • It was such a good stay that I can't think of any particular areas for improvement. Just FYI, when you call an Uber, etc., it's good to let the driver know that you are picking up the ride at Alvear Palace Hotel. Otherwise, some drivers stop on the other side of the street which has a lot of traffic.
