Like stepping into a fairy tale, years back in time! The place rarely touches you and gives you perspectives on life.

Lovely food! Chickens running around, monkeys in the trees, delicious food from the vegetable garden, and warm, happy, and hospitable people! The ladies in the kitchen were fantastic! What an experience! Recommend participating in the guided tours they offer, experiences for a lifetime. On the last day, you are invited to the kitchen to cook. Then you sit together with the family and enjoy the meal. This is definitely the best place we have stayed in Indonesia!

Slow life in Tetebatu

We stayed here driven by the many positive reviews that we can only confirm. Roni was fantastic and practically followed us around all day offering us many useful activities to get to know Tetabatu and the slow life of its inhabitants. We visited the rice fields, the monkey forest, waterfalls, various local activities, and cooked a fantastic dinner together with his family. The room was huge and tastefully decorated, the bed was very large, comfortable, and equipped with a mosquito net. Overall an incredible experience, the most authentic days of our trip in Indonesia!

Great stay - amazing staff. So fun to cook with the girls and they had a guide ready to take us to the monkey forest and other destinations we requested. The only thing is you will hear the mosque but I think this inevitable in all of Tetebatu

Incredible

We spent 3 wonderful days in this homestay. Roni showed us around his region for a day, and it was incredible (rice fields, waterfall, crafts, and monkey forest). The next time we come back to Tetebatu, we will definitely return without hesitation.

An exceptional human and cultural experience, led by an incredibly caring family and activities

It was an absolutely unforgettable experience that I recommend to everyone! The family that welcomed us is exceptional: remarkably kind, generous, and caring. The accommodation was perfect, simple and comfortable, with everything you need to feel at home. This cultural immersion was a real wealth. We participated in a bamboo crafting workshop, discovered local pottery, and experienced many other authentic experiences that helped us better understand the culture and traditions of the region. Everything was there to have a unique, humanly and culturally enriching stay. An incredible experience that I will never forget!

Incredible

Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, very beautiful cottage. Romi and the people around him (in the kitchen and at the reception) are truly incredible. We cooked dishes for dinner, a very gourmet and hearty meal. Romi guided us through the rice fields and the forest of black monkeys for a day, with lots of anecdotes. A good moment of sharing. More than perfect stay in a pleasant, green, and quiet setting

Original human experience with welcoming hosts

Family and warm atmosphere that allows you to discover the life of this family of 85 people (a small community) that even has its school. We had delicious meals cooked by the women. Lemongrass infusions from the garden, coffee, and tea are offered. The place is quite difficult to find because there is no sign with the complicated name if you arrive at night

Lovely stay

Lovely family we enjoyed cooking and making coconut oil, we also were lucky to see the traditional stick fighting. The highlight was a rice field waterfall tour with Ozzy who was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide.
