From the station, walk straight through the square, keeping to the right side. After the square, continue on the right side of the street until you reach Galleria Pizza & Kebab bar. Immediately after, turn right into the covered passage. On the left side of the passage, after the Star Rises shop, there are large transparent doors with vertical metal bars. To the left of the doors, there is a list of tenants with buzzers. Look for "A.Scotto", ring the bell, and introduce yourself. The owner will remotely open the gate and send the elevator from the 7th floor. The owner's name is Giuseppe Scotto. He is an elderly Italian, friendly and amiable. He only speaks Italian. Communication is very easy if you use Google Translate. He will: - take passports to make copies. - receive payment for the tourist tax (payment on-site and cash only) - hand over a set of keys: for street entrance, elevator, apartment, room, bathroom key (if separate), and show the room. There are three rooms in the apartment: - a small room with a bathroom inside. The window overlooks the well between the buildings. - a 16 sq.m room with a separate bathroom outside the room. The window and balcony offer a view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa (on the right). - a 16 sq.m room with a bathroom inside. The window offers a view of the Leaning Tower of Pisa (on the right). All rooms are the same price: clean, tidy, budget-friendly, simple. Basic hygiene products and one towel are provided. Wooden windows with shutters on the outside. In the common corridor, there is a water dispenser with free water. Three modes: regular, cold, and sparkling water.

A large room with a balcony and a view of the Leaning Tower. Comfortable and large bed. Very close to the station, about a 20-30 minute walk. Also about 30 minutes to the airport. The host is an elderly man. We could leave our luggage earlier upon arrival and later before returning home. There is a water dispenser in the corridor for drinking.

- • The bathroom needs renovation or at least refreshing, especially the shower cabin. Mold is starting to appear on the silicone and seals. The cabin itself is tiny, 60x60, so a larger person may have trouble fitting in. Our room was not connected to the bathroom, and we had to walk through the corridor. Since the apartment is close to the station, we couldn't sleep with the window open due to the noise from the station and the constant flashing lights at the pedestrian crossings.

- • Very small beds, old mattress, squeaky bed frame with every movement. The bathroom has a rusty screen, is very small, and when you don't use the toilet, you have to dodge the sink. Great for one night, but at least it should be possible to ventilate the room.

The location was amazing, and the host, even though he did not speak English, was very helpful and kind. Everything went smoothly and it was great for our trip.

- • We had trouble finding the address. The floor where the apartment is located was not indicated. We had to ring all the buzzers on the intercom, and no one spoke English. We had to message the owner, who also did not speak English. There was a strong smell coming from the bathroom drain, and the roller shutter on the window was broken and wouldn't open. It's okay for one night, but at least it should be possible to ventilate the room.

- • The surrounding areas. In our recent trips to Italy, we have noticed that the areas around the stations are full of Maghrebis and sub-Saharan Africans.
