Lovely.
Excellent location, exceptionally clean, excellent facilities in the apartment, easy to find, wonderful host. Bed was more comfortable than it looks…it is a sofa bed.

We had a great time staying at the Cocoa Suites and if we were to return to York we would stay there again
The property was of a good size for a short break and is perfectly located right in the centre of town. The apartment was clean and the check in and access instructions very clear and easy. It had all the amenities it needed if you decide to self cater.

- • Nothing much bad to say. The weather was scorching hot and as the building isn’t air conditioned the room was stifling hot with only a small fan which really only blew warm air about. The power switch for the fridge/freezer is right next to and identical to a light switch so we thought we had turned out the lights but inadvertently powered off the fridge so when we returned later in the day the lollies we were so looking forward to had melted and the fridge contents warm. Maybe an idea to put a small label on that switch?

Contact re instructions were brilliant. Fast response and very informative. 10 /10. Key codes for access no personal staff. Little kitchen extras like milk ,coffee and cleaning products were great . Clean ,cute room . Parking . Quiet. Everything worked well. Great location with a 5 min very pleasant walk into the town.

- • Not a negative for most but I like a TV at the end of the bed to watch while settling for the evening, My personal preference There is a sofa to watch TV. Walk way on this level out side with occasional passers by. Blinds were sufficient to stop onlookers when dark , i just prefer usually not to have to close. Again my preference not a negative
We had a fantastic stay in York, so much to see and do, we didn’t scratch the surface. Our stay was made all the better
A great location, away from any noise, but a short walk into the town centre. Nice to be staying in a building with historic value. Loved the decor, modern and stylish with an art deco hint. I felt very safe here. A well equipped kitchen and a nice touch leaving oil, salt and pepper, coffee, tea and milk 😊

Perfect location, really comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended!
Super place to stay, really convenient for the city centre- it’s a short walk to most of the main attractions and delights that beautiful York has to offer. Fantastic shower, comfortable bed, great facilities for cooking (albeit we ate out !) Security in the building is really good so for solo travellers that’s a big plus. We came by train - would recommend getting a taxi from the station if you have luggage. Kerry is super helpful and responsive. Very happy to recommend and we hope to return here on another trip. Modern stay in an historic building! If you’re (very) hungry, the steak and ale pie at the nearby Black Swan is astonishing!

Brilliant location and terrific for our 2 night stay. Appreciated we could self-cater with cooking facilities provided.
